Francesca’s - Figma Design System & Component Library

When I joined the team, the first thing I noticed was that the design workflow lacked a lot of structure. There was no centralized brand library, inconsistent use of fonts and CTAs, and large PSD files being passed back and forth, slowing production and creating unnecessary friction.

To solve this, I built a comprehensive design system and scalable component library from scratch, personally training the team on best practices, guiding them through the platform’s capabilities, and serving as the go to resource for any Figma or workflow related questions to ensure a smooth and confident transition. Within 30 days, the team was fully onboarded and confidently working within the new system, resulting in a dramatic increase in productivity and design consistency. YAY!

Additionally, I established clear file organization strategies, creating a streamlined, sustainable workflow that supported both immediate output and long-term growth.
